If you’re hearing “Eye of the Tiger”, it’s either you are watching the “Rocky” movie or an exhilarating Clemson Tigers game.

Clemson University’s varsity football team, the Clemson Tigers, won the last four games of the 2003 season recording a total of 108 points, breezing through 2004. It was then that they hit a milestone - they beat third-ranked Florida State, the highest ranked opponent they won over in the school’s history.

In 2006, the team lost by a total of 14 points shying away from what could have been a perfect season. The 2007 season, however, met the Tigers with three consecutive wins. Months later in December, the Clemson Tigers played in their 7^th Chick-fil-a Bowl against the Auburn Tigers. The game has become notable as the team was coached by Walter Riggs who brought the tiger mascot to Clemson after leaving Auburn.
